The United States Equestrian Federation - Equestrian competitors, leisure riders, coaches, fans and enthusiasts each share a personal bond with the horse. This commonality defines the membership of the United States Equestrian Federation [USEF] which serves as the National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport.

The USEF is dedicated to uniting the equestrian community, honoring achievement, and serving as guardians of equestrian sport. Since its inception in 1917, the Federation has been dedicated to pursuing excellence and promoting growth, all while providing and maintaining a safe and level playing field for both its equine and human athletes.

The United States Dressage Federation - The United States Dressage Federation is the only national membership organization dedicated to dressage, a method of horse training in existence since ancient Greece and an Olympic sport since the inception of the modern Olympics in the late 1800’s.

Dedicated to education, the recognition of achievement and promotion of dressage, USDF is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with more than 30 different educational programs, 125 affiliate local or regional clubs and more than 2000 annual awards for excellence in competition.

CORNELL COOPERATIVE EXTENSION OF CHEMUNG COUNTY 4H PROGRAM - 4-H Youth Development

The four Hs (head, heart, hands, and health) represent four basic human needs: independence, belonging, generosity, and mastery. Research shows that youth whose basic needs are met in positive ways are likely to grow into active citizens and contributing members of their families and communities.

4-H helps children fulfill these needs. By combining project activities with opportunities to go to camp, publicly show their work, travel, host international youth, and attend meetings and events at Cornell University, 4-H provides a framework on which young people can build self-confidence, responsibility, and generosity.

Harry Hopkins and his Brockwood Farm Stall Shi*fter - Harry's machine is the best thing that we've purchased for our stable. The amazing Brockwood Stall Shi*fter® is an electrically operated manure and bedding sifter. It does more than just clean horse stalls, it conditions them by completely sifting and mixing all the bedding and removing all the manure, even particles as small as a kernel of corn. All this in less than 6 minutes in a 12 x 12 horse stall bedded with 3 inches of sawchip bedding.

Equissential Breeches

I absolutely LOVE these breeches. I ordered a pair of tan full seat breeches via their website on a Monday...had them the same week on a Thursday. That's pretty cool, but what's REALLY wonderful is how PERFECT they fit and apparently, they must LOOK really great on me because my students and boarders have several times complimented me on how nice my breeches are, asking if they were new! They are so comfortable to ride in and wear, I could just LIVE in them. Well... I just about do. But I finally had to wash them, and they turned out BEAUTIFULLY. I was, am, so pleased that I ordered a "white pair" for an upcoming dressage show that I have entered. The new white breeches arrived on a Wednesday after only being ordered the Sunday evening before. THANKS for the great product and fantastic service.

SmartPaks

With so little time, and so many horses, I rely on SmarkPaks to prepare the supplements for my horses.  Most of my boarders also use this wonderful company.  Actually... I don't know how they do it!  When I put a modest value on my time, and figure up how much it would cost me to buy and prepare supplements for my horses, it turns out to be CHEAPER for me to use SmarkPaks!!!  This is a GREAT company with which to work WITH GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.  I highly RECOMMEND that horse owners AND DOG AND CAT OWNERS, use SMARTPAKS.  The company now has a complete equestrian supply catalog to meet all of your needs.

  Dover Saddlery
A great source for hunter/jumper and dressage needs for horse and rider. Great website with ability to live chat with a customer care specialist.

Libertyville Saddleshop
Another great web site for all of your horse needs. Great prices for all styles of riding.

Stuart Horse Trials
One of my favorite events. This site also has good information about eventing. Make sure to check out their maps of the cross country courses, on which you can click to see a photograph of the jump. In 2003, we cheered on Darren Chiacchia and Windfall.  We also support our friend Carol Kozlowski!

Equisearch.com

A wonderful site full of information about horses.  This site works in conjunction with many of the popular horse magazines.
