WHISPER FAN GALE'S

Whisper was born without problems on June 18th, 2007 at 3AM. The imprint team worked with her successfully.

Whisper is by the famous stallion Goffert 369.

This is my Dad taking Beike and Whisper out for their first adventure outside.

John took these photos on

June 26th.

Whisper is as cuddly as her mother, Beike.

Whisper also has Beike's well-known ears. They

turn right around and look backwards. I just

love those ears.

On June 28th, I saddled Beike up for the first time in nearly two months. John took some photos, and we made a little video of us riding around.

Whisper continues to grow well.

She's quite large for being 4 weeks old now.

Whisper gave us quite a scare in late July. She started having breathing difficulties and had a high temperature.

I didn't want to take any chances, so we took her to Cornell University's Large Animal Hospital.

She and Beike stayed there for 12 days while they treated her for bacterial pneumonia.

Her prognosis is good, with full recovery and lung capacity expected. This is because of the quick, full

treatment that she received at Cornell. Had we lingered with her at home to

see how she would have done on her own with our standard medications, I think we would have had much sicker Whisper.

All is well now...... and she is a full two months old on August 18, 2007.
