JOB OPENING AT GALE'S EQUINE FACILITY

STARTING END OF JUNE 2016

We here at Gale's Equine Facility are happy for Hannah Kent, and her husband, Joe, as they will be having their baby in July. Hannah is planning on leaving us at Gale's at the end of June, and she is hoping to be able to continue her work until that time. I, for one, will be sorry to see Hannah leave us as she's been a valued employee here for sure.

I am, therefore, seeking applications from candidates that would be interested in working here, approximately 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday, starting at 7AM (during the warm weather months).

Farm/horse experience is desirable but more importantly, required are good work ethic and self-initiative. Work will include all aspects of horse care, including, but not limited to, turnouts & turnins of horses to/from pastures, cleaning stalls to our standards, feeding and watering of horses, etc., all work for which we have high standards for performance and attendance.

Because the job requires use of mechanical equipment, minimum age for applicants will be 18 years of age.

Starting salary is $10 per hour, with adjustment possible based on experience and job performance. Four page job application is attached to this posting.
